The tour is about 6–7 hours total: roughly 1 hour each way from Cusco and about 4–5 hours at the activity site including instruction and breaks.
No technical experience is necessary—guides instruct clipping and rappelling—but participants should be comfortable with exposure and have moderate fitness.
Certified harnesses, helmets, ropes, carabiners and gloves are provided; you should bring appropriate footwear, layers and personal hydration.
Operators often ask for age and weight at booking; it’s generally suitable for adults and older teens in good health—pregnant guests and those with serious heart or spinal issues cannot participate.
