The ocean pulls you down in a different way here — not with a heavy tank but with a helmet that lets you breathe as you walk. Warm Caribbean light filters through turquoise water, and the reef rises like a sculpted city beneath your feet. Instructors guide small groups along sandy patches and coral outcrops; schools of sergeant majors and parrotfish dart around you while the surface glitters above.
