You push off from Castillogrande as the city’s skyline slides behind you and the Caribbean spreads wide — blue light broken by boat wakes and the distant palm-fringed rise of Tierra Bomba. The sea nudges the hull; tides and wind will shape the day, sometimes gentle, sometimes testing your edging and stroke.
