Embark on the Pumpkin Patch Express for a unique 2.5-hour adventure to a charming pumpkin patch! Enjoy open-air seating in historic train cars, engage in fun activities like sack races and hay rides, and pick your own pumpkin. This memorable experience blends nostalgia with seasonal festivities for all ages.

All Aboard!

The Pumpkin Patch Express is departing the station for a trip to the Museum's very own pumpkin patch.

Coach Class features open-air seating on a first-come, first-served basis during boarding.

Car 6324

  • Car #6324 formerly carried elephants for Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. It was converted to an open-air coach with restrooms and a snack stand.

Car 86902

  • Once in use as a freight car to carry truck trailers, 86902 was converted to passenger use. Two long wooden benches run down the center of the car with seats facing towards the outside walls.

Two Accessible Wheelchair spaces are also available in this car. Restrooms are available in car 6324.

Who Needs a Ticket?

  • Everyone Age 1 and Up need a ticket to ride. Infants under one year old may travel as a lap rider. Please note, strollers and car seats are not permitted onboard.

What's Included With My Ticket?

After your 35 minute train trip everyone will detrain at the Pumpkin Patch. Lots of games and activities are included:

  • Sack races
  • Hay rides
  • Pick a pumpkin from the patch
  • Food and beverages available for purchase

When the games and pumpkin picking are done, you'll return to Parrish on the train.
