You step out of Plaza Las Glorias into a morning that already smells of sun-warmed tar and citrus, the city folding behind you as the RZR’s engine barks and takes you inland. Within minutes the pavement gives way to dirt and the Sierra Madre begins to rise — a green wall of tropical dry forest and jagged volcanic ridges. The river below seems to dare you as the canopy opens, and by the time you clip into the first line the wind is a tangible thing, pulling at your helmet and cheering you forward.
