Visit one of the best kept secrets in Stuart - the St. Lucie Inlet Preserve State Park - the only way to access the park is by watercraft.
On this special 3-hour educational adventure you‘ll board Sweet Caroline, our 12 passenger pontoon boat, at the Stuart Riverwalk Floating Dock in downtown Stuart for a ~45 minute scenic cruise down the St. Lucie River to the Preserve.
Our group will enjoy a ranger-led hike along the beautiful boardwalk at St. Lucie Inlet Preserve State Park. The ¾-mile long hike will travel through mysterious mangrove swamps and enchanting coastal hammocks, out to the parks expansive undeveloped beach.
Along the way, we'll learn about the different plants and animals that are part of these ecosystems, and why they're so so important to Florida. Once the tour concludes, you'll have some time to enjoy the beach before heading back along the boardwalk to the boat. Afterwards, we'll cruise back to Stuart, so you can enjoy downtown!
*This excursion requires that participants are in physical condition to comfortably walk on the boardwalk and beach. The entire hike will be about an hour and a half.
Bring along any food or drinks you‘d like for the boat; Please use refillable containers when in the Park.
*Pack light - personal item cannot be left on the boat during the hike.
*You must remain with the group for the duration of the Park tour.
