Age Requirement 👪
Ages 8+ only. Riders must independently steer. No walkers or double-ups allowed.

Weight Limit ⚖
Maximum weight is 280 lbs, with height limits for specific weights.

Dress Code 👖👟
Closed-toed shoes and full-length pants are needed. Glow and light-up attire is encouraged! ✨

Helmets Recommended ⛑
Strongly recommend ASTM/SEI-certified helmets—bring your own or rent one of ours.

Walk Only Ride 🐎
These rides are all about taking it easy—no trotting, cantering, or galloping. Our rescue horses love their chill jobs.

!Important Policies

Waiver Policy 📜

All riders must read and sign a waiver before participating in any riding activities. A link to the waiver will be provided in your confirmation email after you complete your booking. Please read and sign the waiver linked in your confirmation email before arriving for your ride.

Late Policy ⏰

We ask all riders to arrive 15 minutes before your ride time to check-in and weigh-in. If arrive at your scheduled time, or if you are late, you will miss your ride with no possibility of refunds. 😭

Substance Policy 🚭

We are a drug-free and alcohol-free establishment. Riders who arrive under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted to ride with no possibility of refunds.

Cancelation & Reschedule Policy 📆

To cancel or make changes to your reservation, please contact us at 616-422-8200 at least 24 hours before your scheduled ride time. Late cancellations significantly impact our small family ranch as we often turn away other customers to hold your spot.

• You may cancel your ride up to 24 hours before your scheduled time for a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your ride time are not eligible for a refund.
• You may reschedule your ride up to 24 hours before your scheduled time. Reschedules are not permitted within 24 hours of your ride time.
• No shows/no contact will be considered a cancellation and not eligible for a refund or reschedule.
• If Rise & Ride Ranch cancels your ride due to severe weather or unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a gift card for the full amount of your ride to use at your convenience.
