  • Top rated trip for shelling, snorkeling, beachgoing, boat cruising, and relaxing. Egmont Key is a Secluded Florida state park at the mouth of Tampa Bay. This Key holds rich American history and stunning natural beauty. While you are on the island you can explore the cobblestone ruins of Fort Dade. There is also an active lighthouse that was built in 1850. Don’t be surprised when you come across one of the locals, aka Gopher tortoises and nesting birds, this Island is a wildlife refuge.
  • This trip does require a minimum of 6 passengers to set sail.

What to Bring

  • Sunscreen, water shoes, towels, snorkel gear, snacks, and drinks.

  • Reminder: We do not allow spray-on sunscreen on our boats. We encourage you to either bring a lotion based sunscreen or spray yourself before getting on the boat.

Where To Find Boat Tours At The Bradenton Beach Marina

The Bradenton Beach Marina is easy to find and centrally located near Cortez Road and Gulf Drive.

From Long Boat Key

  • Head north on Gulf Drive to 2nd St. (at the corner of Oma’s Pizza). Turn right on 2nd St. Drive two block east to Church Avenue and make a left until you reach the marina at the end of the road.

From the North end of Anna Maria Island

  • Head south on Gulf Drive to 2nd St. (at the corner of Oma’s Pizza). Turn left on 2nd St. Drive two block east to Church Avenue and make a left until you reach the marina at the end of the road.

From the Mainland

  • The Bradenton Beach Marina is located just off Cortez Road. Keep in mind, Cortez Road gets busy January-April, so if you are driving to the island for a day of fun, allot yourself the time to get to the island. Cortez Road is busiest from 10:00AM - 2:00PM during the busy season.
