About

Have fun with your friends on the water! Bring your club, scout troop, team, college crew, birthday party or other group kayaking on the Hudson River! This 1.5 hour beginner kayak or stand up paddleboarding experience for youth or young adults begins in a protected embayment on the Hoboken side of the Hudson River. Students will learn kayaking skills and safety through fun on-water games plus instruction. If river conditions and paddling skills are suitable, as the class progresses, the group may venture out onto the river for a mini-tour. With stunning views of Manhattan as the backdrop, your group will have great pictures to take away. Do something adventurous with your group this season.

The class follows the American Canoe Association curriculum and industry standards for risk management. The “challenge by choice” model will be used to ensure comfort while allowing each person to participate at his or her own level and develop skills at his or her own speed. No prior experience is necessary. * This is a group session, but we also provide private individual kayak or paddleboard lessons for children and teens. Just call or send an email to request.

Discover a new way to explore New York and New Jersey with our kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding group sessions. Our fantastic instructors are here to give your youth group a great experience!
