Located on the rugged stretch of California’s Monterey Bay, Secret Harbor Charter offers a truly standout way to connect with the marine wilderness cruising from Moss Landing. This boutique yacht charter service specializes in intimate, private voyages aboard the Meridian, a 50-foot luxury yacht with space for just six passengers. The exclusivity and comfort of this vessel redefine bay travel, making it a top-tier option for small groups seeking direct access to the ocean’s most dramatic scenes.
Monterey Bay is famed for its rich wildlife and unique underwater geology. The deep waters here serve as a feeding ground for some of the planet’s largest creatures, including humpback and blue whales, which guests often encounter thanks to the sharp eyes and expertise of the onboard naturalist. A trip with Secret Harbor Charter brings these encounters to life, with the captain skillfully maneuvering the yacht for unobstructed views while the naturalist provides insightful commentary on local ecology and animal behaviors.
Beyond wildlife spotting, Secret Harbor Charter also caters to scientific and specialized group expeditions, offering a clean, stable platform equipped with necessary tools and amenities. Flexibility and professionalism shine through in every trip, ensuring that from casual wildlife watching to technical offshore operations, guests experience smooth and rewarding outings.
The charm of Moss Landing itself — a small fishing community with a working harbor and striking coastal views — complements the adventure. Secret Harbor Charter not only showcases the marine wonders of Monterey Bay but also elevates every outing with personal, attentive service. Owner Karen and her team add thoughtful touches that make each excursion memorable, from refreshments to tailored routes based on weather and sighting reports.
For those looking to escape crowded public cruises and dive into a private, comfortable, and educational sea journey, Secret Harbor Charter stands apart in the Central California outdoor adventure scene.
