Setting sail from one of the nearest marinas to the Pacific Ocean, our location offers a prime spot for witnessing Grey Whales. These majestic creatures migrate south from Alaska, finding our warm, shallow waters perfect for their journey to Baja California for mating and calving.
When the wind is favorable, we exclusively sail, providing a serene atmosphere without the hum of a motor as we navigate to where the whales may be.
While enjoying breathtaking views of the San Diego coastline and witnessing whale breaches, your captain will share fascinating facts about the whale population and their habitat, ensuring a meaningful encounter for our guests.

Bareboat Charter Info: Following current Coast Guard regulations, your Bareboat Charter doesn't include a Captain. But don't worry, we have a list of skilled Licensed Captains familiar with our program and boats.
Captains on our roster charge $75 an hour, plus tips, payable directly to them after the trip.
If you've picked a bareboat charter, after you book, a friendly crew member will get in touch with you and share a list of captains for you to pick from.
