Adventure tips

Book the right optionChoose 2–5.5 hour options based on whether you want transfers or the National Gallery included; transfers add travel time but reduce logistical stress.

Respect photography rulesMany galleries allow no-flash, non-commercial photography but rules vary—ask your guide before shooting to avoid fines or removal.

Arrive early to avoid crowdsStart in the Wallace Collection in the morning for quieter galleries, then move to the National Gallery when it's livelier after lunch.

Accessibility checkBoth museums and listed transfer vehicles offer wheelchair access—notify the operator of mobility needs when booking.

Recommended gear

Comfortable flat shoes: You'll be standing and walking on hard museum floors for extended periods.
Portable phone charger: Guides often reference digital images and you'll want battery for photos and navigation.
Light-layer jacket: Museum temperatures can be cool; a light jacket is easy to remove when moving between venues.
Notebook and pencil: Quick notes or sketching details help retain information without using your phone.
