About
Experience fjords and the Bergen waterfront in an exceptionally Norwegian way aboard a square sail Viking-style ship! Viking Voyages operates numerous trips per day out of Bryggen in Bergen’s inner harbor using the truly traditional vessel, Storskarven. Trips will take participants along Bergen’s iconic waterfront. Sailing is a priority and our route will be dictated by wind conditions. Regardless of weather, guests are guaranteed an authentically ancient sailing experience. Aboard the ship, guests can admire the elegant ship-building techniques developed by the Vikings and participate in a centuries old style of sailing.
The tour includes fascinating insights into the Viking age, Bergen history, and Norwegian coast culture.

From 09:00 to 20:00, if you are booking a longer voyage the starting times will be earlier in the day.
