Itinerary

Depart San Juan

We will pick you up at Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino in a Mercedes vehicle for your private small group. Depart at 2:15pm for a journey that crosses the central mountain range, and the south plains. On the 2.5-hour drive to La Parguera, you get to learn about this ever changing landscape.

Stop at Guanica for Puerto Rican history

Our first stop is at Guanica, where you will visit the landing spot for Ponce the Leon when he came to conquer Puerto Rico. This is also the spot where the US troops landed when they came to release us from Spain, and claim the island after purchasing it as part of the Treaty of Paris in 1898.

Swim and snorkel at sunset in Cayo Caracoles

Arrive at 5:45pm to board our private boat for Caracoles Key in Lajas. Located in the La Parguera Nature Reserve, this tiny island is a favorite for locals who like to avoid the crowds in Fajardo. Swim and snorkel through its channels, enjoying Puerto Rico’s clearest and warmest turquiose waters. It's here you get to witness one of the best sunsets in the Caribbean.

Experience the magic of La Parguera Bioluminescent Bay

After the sun sets, your captain takes you through the warm Caribbean waters to Papayo Cove, home to the enchanting bioluminescent waters where you dive in and discover the surreal effect of the trillions of dinoflagellates surrounding you. This soothing and enchanting light show is unlike anything in the world, and your captain is there to help you enjoy it safely so you have memories that last forever.

Return to your San Juan accommodations

After swimming in the sparkles of this Puerto Rico bio bay, your captain returns you to dock for your private transportation back to San Juan. Expect to arrive back to San Juan later in the evening.
