You meet at the Marina Del Rey Starbucks, then drift a few blocks to Venice Beach where the photographer reads the light — golden, low, forgiving — and asks a few simple prompts to loosen you up. Shots along the canals feel quieter; the boardwalk delivers energy, murals and kinetic movement; the sand gives wide-open frames with the ocean as a relentless, shifting backdrop.
