If you want to skip the tourists at the Great Market Hall and hang out in one of the local markets that is still in the downtown area, then this market is for you. You won’t find paprika in every corner, and vendors won’t shout at you in English. It is a true local market undiscovered by tourist.
The architecture is controversial to say at least, it is not as grand as the central market but it managed to win some awards. Yet you can still pretty much find all the same stuff you would find at the Great Market Hall. You can savor tasty dishes like, sausage, strudel baked on premises. If you want to get the full local experience, see and observe them in their natural habitat, then you should come and join me for this one of a kind experience.
