One of the most relevant archaeological sites in México, Monte Alban is located on top of a mountain in the middle of the Oaxaca valley. it’s pyramids, tombs, plazas, and palaces remind the ancient glory of the millinery Zapotec civilization.

On this tour we will have a guided visit through the archaeological site, and drive around the Valley, visiting the Zapotec villages of Arrazola and Coyotepec, known for the production of alebrijes (colorful carved wooden figures) and black shiny ceramics. After a stop for lunch, we will visit an early-colonial temple in Cuilapam de Guerrero.
