Discover two of the most historically important cities on the Spanish plateau and a World Heritage Site: Ávila, known for its 12th century walls, and Segovia, home to one of the world's best preserved Roman aqueducts. In addition, visit the Monastery of El Escorial and its basilica, burial place of the kings of Spain. We will leave Madrid early in the morning and head for Ávila, where we will stop at the viewpoint of the four posts. Then we will go to the city to start the guided tour on foot, passing by the Sanctuary of San Vicente and the Cathedral and of course the walls. Then we will leave for Segovia, our guide will explain everything about the creation of the aqueduct by the Romans, we will continue our route through the streets of the city center, we will pass by the Cathedral, continuing by the district of the Canonjías, until arriving at the famous Alcazar, symbol of the art and history of Spain. There you will have free time to eat, do some shopping or access some of the monuments on your own. Once the break is over, we will go to El Escorial, to take the guided tour inside its monastery. Our guide will take us through this architectural complex that includes a royal palace, a basilica, a pantheon, a library, a school and a monastery.
