Join us for an evening cruise to catch a legendary Lake Champlain sunset. Relaxing, peaceful, inspiring and totally private. Your party will have the entire boat to yourselves to enjoy one of the most beautiful experiences you can have while visiting Burlington. Relax on Loon as the day wanes, and the sky lights up with spectacular color.
We recommend that you wear and/or bring attire that will keep you comfortable for your 2-hour cruise. (It's usually a bit cooler out on the water.) Remember your camera, sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, comfortable non-marking shoes (please, no high heels or heavy boots…sneakers or bare feet are fine). We provide comfortable seating (and plush blankets if it gets chilly!)
We encourage you to bring your own food and beverages if you like. What kind of food? Think of it as a picnic on the water with foods that are easy to serve and consume in an informal setting. (Please keep in mind that we do not have reheating/re-warming options available on the vessel.)
To make things really easy, we can highly recommend our friends at “Spot on the Dock” restaurant, located right at the marina. You can order directly through an app and, given adequate notice (usually 60 minutes or less), they can have your order ready in time for your cruise. But of course Burlington is a “foodie” town, so there are a lot of other options available to you. We provide fresh water, ice, and setups including plates, utensils, drinkware, napkins, serving ware, etc. Links for these food ordering options will be provided in your confirmation email.
Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before departure to ensure a smooth boarding process and to settle in comfortably.
Even during summer, temperatures can drop after sunset; packing a light jacket or sweater keeps you comfortable.
Wear sunscreen and a hat during the early part of the cruise to protect against sun exposure while on the open water.
Keep cameras, phones, and loose items secure to prevent them from falling overboard or getting damaged.
Lake Champlain played a key role during the American Revolutionary War and has a rich maritime heritage preserved in local museums.
Efforts to maintain water quality and protect native fish species like lake trout ensure Lake Champlain remains a thriving ecosystem and a beautiful destination.
Keeps you warm during the cooler evenings on the water.
