Six Hour Offshore State Waters Fishing Charter

Our exciting State Waters Offshore Fishing Charters feature private, family friendly saltwater fishing in the offshore waters up to 9 miles out into the Gulf of Mexico. Action packed and always fun, our offshore fishing charters are a great for experienced saltwater junkies and novice anglers alike.

Alabama has the largest artificial reef program in the U.S. and our offshore fishing charters often focus on bottom fishing, trolling, and fishing flat lines near artificial reefs. In addition to man made reefs we also fish near oil and gas rigs, sand bars, wrecks, and natural bottom areas where fish congregate. Our State Waters Offshore Fishing Charters are offered year round and feature a combination of heavy offshore rods and reels alongside some of our lighter tackle which provides the ultimate challenge to any excited angler.

Offshore charters offer the opportunity to catch some of the hardest fighting saltwater fish found anywhere on the planet. In the spring we often focus our fishing efforts on the return of fun to catch warm weather seekers such as Spanish & King Mackerel along with the year round residents we love such as Red Snapper, Triggerfish, and sharks. Summer and warm water offers the greatest variety of species that we have for the year. Our summer favorites include fast swimmers such as the Spanish & King Mackerel along with the occasional Mahi-Mahi, and Bonita. Summer also includes studs like Cobia, Triggerfish, Amberjack, and in most years the much anticipated Red Snapper season. Fall fishing very closely mirrors summer patterns and the final chance of the year to catch migratory Pelagic fish such as Mackerel, Mahi, and Cobia. Winter offshore fishing features trolling for Redfish and short Federal Amberjack and Triggerfish seasons.

Included in your rates is an experienced U.S.C.G Licensed Captain, Alabama and Florida Saltwater Fishing Licenses, rods and reels, bait, tackle, fish cleaning and bagging, and life jackets. You should consider snacks, drinks, sun screen, hats, sun glasses, and don't forget to bring your camera! Options such as gratuity for your Captain, accidental damage protection, and trip protection are not included in the rates.
