Protect fragile seagrass and coral by using reef‑safe sunscreen and reapplying regularly; you’ll be on open water with full sun exposure.
Wear water shoes
Soft sand can hide shells and broken coral; water shoes protect feet when wading on and off the bar.
Pack a snorkel mask
Visibility is excellent in shallow flats—bringing your own mask lets you explore nearby seagrass edges and small patches of reef.
Prepare for boat boarding
Expect to climb a short ladder or step into shallow water from the boat; bring a small dry bag and stabilize yourself on deck.
