Jack London State Historic Park has world-class horseback riding trails that take our guests past vineyards and through towering redwood tree forests and open oak woodland fields and (seasonally, at least) over bubbling creeks. World famous American author Jack London first starting buying acreage for his well-named Beauty Ranch in 1905, and visitors have enjoyed riding horses on the property’s trails ever since.
Triple Creek Horse Outfit has been guiding rides in this state park since 2003, and we enjoying sharing the rich history and heritage of this special place with visitors, whether they’re already Jack London fans or have yet to discover his work. Our trails skirt a 200 acre vineyard before heading into the Redwood and Oak woodland forest. There are 1,200+ acres of trails and the park is 5 minutes from Glen Ellen, 20 minutes from Sonoma and Santa Rosa, and about 45 minutes from Napa.
Riders must be at least 8 years old and weigh under 210 pounds for safety and comfort.
Long pants and closed-toe shoes are recommended to protect your legs and feet during the ride.
Bring water or hydrate well before your ride, especially during warmer months.
All private rides require a 3-day cancellation notice; large groups have a 7-day policy.
Jack London State Historic Park was established to preserve the land and legacy of famed author Jack London, who settled here in the early 1900s.
