Adventure tips

Book golden hour for the best lightSchedule your session at sunrise or late afternoon to avoid harsh shadows and busy crowds for softer, more flattering portraits.

Limit locations to twoOne hour passes quickly—pick up to two nearby spots (Arena + promenade or Arena + Zerostrasse) to get varied backdrops without losing time to walking.

Charge and clear storageBring spare batteries or a charged phone and clear memory space; the photographer delivers 20 edited images, so you want ample capture capacity.

Tripods and commercial gear may need permissionSmall hand-held stabilizers are fine, but if you plan extensive tripods or lighting in the Arena area, check local rules to avoid fines or interruption.

Recommended gear

Mirrorless camera or high-quality smartphone: Provides the image quality needed for professional portraits and quick adjustments in changing light.
Spare batteries or power bank: Keeps the shoot running—one hour of continuous shooting drains batteries faster than casual use.
Lightweight tripod or gorillapod: Useful for low-light or creative long-exposure shots, but check local restrictions on tripods in historic sites.
Comfortable walking shoes: You’ll move between nearby locations on stone streets—stable shoes keep the session efficient and safe.
