About

The city of Perth is a vibrant and relaxed destination. Featuring a stunning a coastline with a myriad of stunning beaches. On this tour you will discover the heart of the city, Kings Park. Afterwards travel to the charming suburb of Fremantle, well known for its cafes and fish shops. Later board a ferry and sail along the beautiful Swan River back to Perth.

We start by staying within the city limits and to Kings Park which occupies approximately 400 hectares of Mount Eliza overlooking the city of Perth and the Swan River. The Park has much to offer with its sweeping parklands, Botanic Garden, wildflowers (which are spectacular, especially in Spring), and native bushland (two-thirds of the park). There are extensive city and river views with a panorama to the Darling Scarp. The magnificently sited State War Memorial is also one of several scenic vantage points. Enjoy a morning tea stop before we make our way out of the city we stop at one of Perth’s best kept secrets, Cottesloe Beach. Cottesloe is one of Perth’s most popular beaches and attracts people looking to cool off from the hot summer heat. Its crystal clear waters, regular swell and fun atmosphere make it popular with swimmers, body boarders and surfers alike. Cottesloe’s famous pine trees which can be seen all the way from Rottnest Island provide welcome shade from the sun and grassy areas to relax in. We will enjoy lunch here, overlooking the Indian Ocean. We travel to the coast and to Fremantle which oozes heritage and cosmopolitan culture. Every day of the week, the streets are abuzz with shoppers and al fresco diners, while pubs brim over with patrons from across the globe. Best known for its docks, marinas, and charming heritage sandstone buildings we head to Victoria Quay to visit the Western Australian Maritime Museum. Designed to depict a boat stranded on a sandy promontory, the museum houses famous sailing vessels along with hands on exhibits bringing sea-faring heritage to life. To finish off this exciting day we board a cruise to take you back to Perth on the beautiful Swan River. The cruise includes tea/coffee and wine tastings of WA premium wines. One final stop at Kings Park allows time to enjoy or photograph the outstanding panorama of Perth and the Swan River before arriving back into the city late afternoon.
