Frequently asked questions

Where do I board the yacht?

Boarding is typically at a Marina dock in Dubai (often Dubai Marina) — your exact meeting point and directions are provided after booking.

Is food included with the overnight stay?

The vessel supplies bottled water, juices, and tea/coffee; a live BBQ is commonly offered but confirm whether food is included or needs to be arranged in advance.

Can I sleep onboard and what are the accommodations like?

Yes — the yacht has three cabins for overnight guests; spaces are compact and best for those comfortable with small marine cabins rather than hotel-style rooms.

What is the cancellation policy?

Full refunds are available if cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled start; check your booking confirmation for any updates.

Local insights

Wildlife

Bottlenose dolphins (occasionally)
Greater flamingo and coastal wading birds at Ras Al Khor

History

Dubai’s maritime identity began with pearling and dhow trade; modern yachting is a recent layer that repurposes those waterways for leisure and skyline viewing.

Conservation

Respect anchoring restrictions and avoid discharging waste; protected wetlands like Ras Al Khor support bird populations and need quiet, pollutant-free waters.

Adventure tips

Bring ID and passportCarry originals for boarding and any security checks; copies alone may not be accepted.

Prepare for heat and sunUse sunscreen and a wide-brim hat for daytime boarding; evenings can still be warm so choose breathable fabrics.

Pack motion-sickness remediesIf you are prone to seasickness pick tablets or wrist bands — night movement can still unsettle sensitive travelers.

Non-slip footwearDecks can be slippery; closed non-marking shoes improve traction and protect toes when moving around.

Recommended gear

Passport or government ID: Required for boarding and identity checks at marinas and security points.
Non-slip deck shoes: Protects feet and improves traction on wet or moving decks.
Light jacket or windbreaker: Sea breezes after sunset can feel cooler even in Dubai; a wind layer is useful for overnight stays.
Sunscreen and hat: Daytime boarding and transit between dock and boat expose you to strong sun and glare off the water.
