Galena Lodge manages a mountain recreation center offering Nordic ski lessons, guided snowshoe tours, private mountain bike instruction, and a collection of backcountry yurts near Galena Peak. The lodge provides personalized one-on-one Nordic ski instruction for skate and classic techniques with expert instructors who tailor each hour to the guest’s skill level. Guided two-hour snowshoe tours include rental equipment and trail passes for hassle-free exploration of winter landscapes. Mountain bike lessons and guided rides are led by certified instructors, with private sessions focused on skill development and trail enjoyment.

Galena Lodge operates four distinct yurts: Star’s Perch, the Miner’s Yurt, Senate View, and the Honeymoon yurt. Each yurt offers essential amenities and wood-stove or wood-fired sauna options where noted. Star’s Perch features a wood-fired sauna and views of Galena Peak. The Miner’s Yurt sits atop Jenny’s Way Nordic Trail with ridge-line views. Senate View overlooks Senate Meadows and includes a sledding hill nearby. The Honeymoon yurt is a secluded, small-family or couples retreat that allows pets.
