Let us take you on a memorable trip away from Denver. Our Mount Blue Sky tour is a combination of natural beauty and fascinating history. In addition to seeing the world from the top of Mount Blue Sky, you will enjoy stops at the Red Rocks Amphitheater, Echo Lake, and the city of Idaho Springs.
Red Rocks Amphitheater is a musical venue surrounded by red sandstone rock formations. The natural acoustics of this location have made it a favorite venue of performers since it opened in 1941.
The next stop on the way to the summit is scenic Echo Lake. Here, you can enjoy the beauty of crisp mountain waters surrounded by evergreen trees.
The tour continues along the Mount Blue Sky Scenic Byway until we reach the top of Mount Blue Sky. At 14,130 feet, this mountain is one of the tallest in the front range of the Rocky Mountains. You may spot Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep and mountain goats making their way through the territory. Make sure you are ready to preserve the memory with some fantastic pictures. In case the summit is not accessible due to weather conditions, constrictions, and other road closures we will drive to the highest point possible.
Before heading back to Denver, you will get to see some local history in the city of Idaho Springs. In 1859, prospectors discovered gold at this location where the Chicago Creek meets Clear Creek.
