About

Dolphin viewing, whale-watching in-season

Hawaii Nautical takes your private party of up to 6 guests on an unparalleled yacht to experience and exploration of the scenic Kona coastline. Snorkel, see dolphins and turtles year round. During whale season (December-April) also see humpback whales. Custom itinerary where the captain presents the best snorkel options for the day, tailored to your wishes.

This five-hour charter can be extended by the hour to accommodate even more snorkel spots, sailing time, marine wildlife viewing, or any other preference for your private itinerary.

ADD A 6th HOUR to sail to Kealakekua Bay and snorkel Kealakekua’s underwater marine sanctuary, in view of the Captain Cook Monument (Note: approximately 3.5-4 hours of time on the Kealakekua trip would be spent underway).

Cabins for rest & rejuvenation and private changing areas, plus in-cabin restrooms and fresh-water showers for comfort and convenience. Bring your snorkel and mask, or sanitized re-usable sets are available . Fins and snorkel vests are provided and in-water assistance from expert crew are included.

Menu Catering and menu subject to change

For all charters, catering is to be selected from the following options and is added on at the rate of a 4-plate minimum for guests 1-4, and is added at a per-person rate for all guests above the minimum.

Al Fresco

  • Turkey club sandwich with fries, toasted white or wheat bread with turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato and swiss cheese
  • OR Vegetarian option: Veggie burger with fries Local Plate (add-on as purchase of 1 plate per person on any private charter)

Below (except vegetarian option) come with steamed rice and tossed salad:

  • Grilled Mahi Mahi
  • Grilled Salmon
  • Furikake crusted ono (wahoo) with aioli sauce
  • Spicy garlic chicken with aioli sauce
  • Pulehu shortribs (grilled beefed), seasoned with Hawaiian salt
  • Ribeye steak prepared with garlic salt and pepper, broiled and served with grilled mushrooms and onions
  • Vegetarian option: Veggie burger
