Private Luxury Picnic in Florence Park — Romantic Tuscan Picnic Experience

In the heart of Firenze, a short walk from the city center, Passeios na Toscana offers a private, luxury picnic experience in one of Florence’s leafy urban parks. For 2–6 people and lasting two to three hours, this curated moment pairs relaxed Italian al fresco dining with the close-at-hand cultural pulse of Tuscany’s capital.

The setting is deliberately simple and elegant: a rug, plush cushions, a vintage-style picnic case and a thermal bag stocked with regional foods. The menu leans on classic Tuscan flavors — a rotating selection of Italian cheeses, cured salami and prosciutto, panini and tartes, crusty breads with olive oil and house-made preserves, fine pastries and seasonal fruit. Drinks include still water and one bottle of wine or prosecco per two guests, adjustable to your taste. Hosts set the scene so you can focus on conversation, celebration or quiet recovery after a day of museums and walking.

What makes this small business special is its attention to context. Passeios na Toscana stages each picnic within easy reach of Florence’s major sights but placed in green space that feels removed from the city’s bustle. The proximity to central piazzas and the convenience of a localized pick-up point mean you can fit a luxurious pause into an otherwise full Florence itinerary — from honeymoon proposals to family celebrations or simply a slow, restorative afternoon.

The experience also highlights the seasonal availability of fresh, local produce and wine; menus shift with what’s best that week. Although set in an urban park rather than a dramatic geological landmark, the contrast between cobbled streets and a spread of Tuscan specialties under broad shade creates a memorable city-outdoor moment unique to Florence. As a cultural aside, Florence’s parks have been informal meeting places for generations of residents and visitors, offering a quieter view of everyday Tuscan life.

Practical notes: meeting point is communicated after booking; group size is two to six people; duration is two to three hours; languages and cancellation details are provided by the operator at reservation. Bring sunscreen and comfortable shoes if you plan to stroll afterward, and flag dietary restrictions at booking so hosts can customize the offerings.

This private picnic runs daily from 15 April to 15 October and the team can accommodate Portuguese-speaking guests. Menus are flexible to dietary needs and can be adjusted at booking; many couples commission a photographer or request a special setup for proposals and anniversaries. Reserve in advance during high season to secure your preferred park and time. Plan early and arrive relaxed.
