Private luxury boat tour on Lake Como — 4–8 hour Jeanneau Runabout experience

Lake Como in Lombardy, Italy, is a glacier-carved basin ringed by steep, forested slopes and elegant lakeside towns. This Luxury private boat tour on Lake Como puts you aboard a vintage-inspired Jeanneau Runabout 755 for a private 4–8 hour escape that moves at your pace. Start from one of multiple pickup points—Como, Cernobbio, Laglio, Argegno, Colonno, Sala Comacina, Tremezzo, Bellagio, Varenna, Menaggio, Torno, or Blevio—and slip into the long, narrow arms of the lake. The boat itself channels classic Italian runabout design with retro lines, open cockpit comfort, a bimini, onboard fridge, a shower and WC, and plush towels. Its compact 8‑meter hull is nimble enough to cruise shallow coves and fast enough to make long loops between towns. The flexible itineraries—four, five, six, seven or eight hours—mean you can linger for a lakeside lunch, swim in sheltered bays, or visit multiple villages without feeling rushed. Key features of the scene include the inverted-Y shape of the lake, cliffs and terraces descending into deep blue water, and the sequence of towns and villas that line the shore. The shoreline alternates cobbled harbors, pebble beaches, and manicured gardens that grow Mediterranean cypress and oleander against older chestnut and beech woods on the slopes. Geologically, the basin is a glacial trough—one of Europe’s deepest lakes—creating dramatic depth and cold, clear water that invites a dip. This operator stands out because the experience is wholly private and highly customizable: choose timing, stops and the pace. Visit a favorite villa or village for a long lunch, pull over for an hour of swimming in a glassy bay, or slow-roll past cliffside estates for photos. Small-group limits keep the outing intimate and allow the captain to navigate quieter coves larger boats can’t reach. Practical details: bring swimsuits, sun protection, and a flexible lunch plan if you want to dine ashore; pickup points cover the main western and central towns so arranging transfers is straightforward. The trip suits couples, small groups, and anyone after a polished day on the water with Italian style. Why book it? For the combination of handcrafted boating charm, local knowledge, and access to the most picturesque reaches of Lake Como without crowds. Whether you want a restorative swim, rallying sequence of towns, or a slow day of lakeside dining, this private tender converts the classic Como day into something personal and memorable. The captain carries basic safety equipment and can recommend sheltered bays when the wind picks up; passengers should have basic mobility to step on and off docks and carry bags. Book early in high season to secure pickup points and time slots—an early-morning cruise yields calmer water and light for photography and quieter runs past the lake’s facades shoreline.
