Private Laser Tag in Blandford Forum: 90-Minute Team Battles at Laserguys

On the outskirts of Blandford Forum in Dorset, Laserguys Activities offers a high-energy, private laser tag experience that turns an ordinary afternoon into a tactical playground. Located at Laserguys Activities, Blandford Forum DT11 9HT, United Kingdom, the 90-minute session gives groups exclusive use of an indoor/outdoor arena and a sheltered picnic area—ideal for birthdays, corporate team-building, or friend groups seeking competitive fun. Your session begins with a short safety briefing and kit-up: lightweight laser vests and easy-to-use blasters with unlimited virtual ammunition. The arena is a patchwork of bunkers, barricades, and low walls that reward quick thinking and stealth over brute force; game marshals run six distinct missions and can tweak modes for mixed-age groups (minimum age is 6). After the structured play, the booking reserves an extra 20 minutes in the sheltered picnic area so teams can celebrate, share highlights, and refuel—there’s no catering, but the space is perfect for cake and packed lunches. What makes this setup stand out in Dorset’s outdoor offerings is its location at the fringe of the county’s chalk downland, where open skies and a rural backdrop give a different feel to typical urban laser-tag venues. The venue’s flexible game modes and dedicated marshal service make it equally suitable for competitive teens, office teams refining communication, or families introducing kids to tactical play. Prices start from £16.80 per person, and bookings require a minimum spend equivalent to ten players, though games function well with 6+ participants. Practical details matter: arrive 10–15 minutes early to get settled at your picnic spot and complete the digital waiver you'll receive after booking. Free on-site parking is available but limited, so car-sharing is encouraged. The operator runs sessions year-round and will contact you if extreme weather makes play unsafe. Wear sturdy shoes and layered clothing for quick movement, and bring a water bottle—the games are surprisingly aerobic. Laserguys adds value with exclusive arena use and a marshal-managed format that keeps sessions flowing and everyone involved. Its combination of structured missions, adaptable rulesets, and a sheltered social space makes it a reliable option for groups seeking a memorable, low-fuss day out in Dorset. Whether you’re planning a birthday, a company day, or just a rowdy afternoon with friends, this private laser-tag booking delivers fun with structure and the freedom to make the event your own. Sessions are structured but informal: game marshals tailor mission length and objectives to keep all ages engaged, and the equipment’s simple interface means first-timers score hits quickly. The meeting point is Laserguys Activities, Blandford Forum DT11 9HT, United Kingdom; after your match you can stroll into Blandford Forum’s Georgian town centre—a community rebuilt after the 1731 fire—to find pubs and cafés for nearby drinks.
