Houston’s brewing scene expanded rapidly after craft-beer deregulation in the 2000s, repurposing old warehouses and shipping-adjacent lots into taprooms and micro-distilleries.
Using an electric cart reduces the number of short car trips and lowers emissions; many local breweries emphasize recycling and on-site grain repurposing for sustainability.
