About

The Shenandoah Riding Center offers private riding lessons, for ages 5 to adult.

Lessons include instruction in grooming, saddling, horse care, and riding according to each student’s skill level. Lessons can be catered to all levels and needs. We can teach liberty work, horse handling, and ground work. Just let us know what you are looking to learn, and we will teach you!

At The Shenandoah Riding Center, all students, whether beginning or advanced, are encouraged to develop their personal horsemanship skills. If our student has never touched a horse, but is horse crazy, we can help them gain the confidence and skill-set required to safely handle them. If experienced, we have well-schooled horses and ponies to meet the challenge of continued riding and horsemanship growth. If you haven't ridden in years, we can help you regain your confidence, skill-set AND fitness.
