Our Australian Stockhorses and our wonderful "Pink Ladies" are kind, patient and helpful.
Horses are Good for the Soul and we love to help people to build self confidence, face their fears and do it anyway and learn to safely ride a horse and above all have a bunch of FUN.
One of our experienced instructors will teach you exclusively for 1 hour. While we have a format for this lesson, as it is a private lesson we have the flexibility to tailor this experience to your needs, experience level, confidence and ability. We can start from the basic riding all the way up to high levels of horsemanship, riding and techniques.
We have a wide range of horses and ponies to suit riders or any experience level to help you have the most pleasurable tailor-made unique experience.
No riding experience required. Medium level of fitness is required. Please note our weight limit is 110kg and minimum age in lessons will be 4 years old.
Please note no dogs are permitted on the property at any time.
Plan to arrive 5-10 minutes before your lesson to complete necessary paperwork and get acquainted with your instructor and horse.
Wear full-length pants and closed-toe shoes with a slight heel; avoid shorts or loose clothing for safety and comfort.
Stay hydrated and protect yourself with sunscreen and a hat, especially during warmer months under open skies.
The program is designed for riders up to 110kg and aged 4 years or older to ensure horse and rider safety.
Jarrahdale was once Western Australia’s largest timber town, its heritage deeply linked to forestry and rural life.
The equestrian centre promotes low-impact horse handling and upkeep of the native bushland to minimize environmental disturbance.
A helmet is compulsory for safety and is provided by the Centre for all riders.
