With this adventurous private tour, you will explore the extreme south-east of Italy, immersed in the nature and landscape of the Bauxite Caves. Accompanied by professional hiking guides, you will explore an exciting panoramic trek along one of the most suggestive hiking trails of Salento, on the path of the extreme south-east to admire the coast and the cliffs overlooking the sea. You will start the route from the port of Otranto, following the scenic coastal paths, the path of the Piscare, you will visit one of the symbols of Otranto, the legendary Torre del Serpe and you will walk on the path of the Orte, until you reach the wonderful Bay of the Orte. From here you will leave towards Bauxite caves with fascinating landscapes.
The route also includes the visit of Otranto where you will visit the historic center with the Cathedral and the Aragonese Castle.
There are two options of the tour: half and full day. Full day tour includes guided tour of Otranto in the late morning, free time on your own to have lunch in Otranto and trekking in the afternoon. Half day includes guided tour of Otranto in the afternoon followed by trekking.
