About

Our Private Group lessons are perfect for couples who want to share their experience with just the two of them; groups of friends or families who want to personalize their surfing experience; families with younger children who may need more supervision in the water; or those who have a bit more surfing experience and want to customise their lesson to suit their ability. All equipment supplied.

Popular choices are our 3 or 5 lesson packages. This offers you a great saving on each of your groups lessons and gives everyone the time in the water that's needed to really improve their surfing!

What to Bring

You don’t really need to bring much to your surf lesson, but try to remember the following items:

  • Swimwear
  • Towel
  • Sunscreen
  • Drinking water
  • Beach footwear in summer if the ground is hot
  • Your booking voucher (printed or on your phone)
  • A HUGE smile!!....

Inclusions

We will provide you with the following when you arrive for your lesson:

  • Surfboard

  • Sunscreen (if you do not have your own)
  • Professional Instruction from our experienced surf coaches

Meeting Location

Lessons are generally held at Redgate Beach, however if conditions aren't suitable we will notify you of the best location for the conditions on the day. Please meet the Margaret River Surf School van in the Redgate Beach Car Park 10 minutes prior to your lesson commencing. Directions; From Margaret River town head South on Bussell Hwy. At the roundabout turn right onto Boodjidup Rd and continue to the end. Turn left onto Caves Rd. In 2kms turn right onto Redgate Rd and continue all the way to the beach car park.
