Join us in one of Amsterdam’s most famous and charming neighbourhoods to seek out some of the city’s most contemporary street art. The wonderful thing about street art is that the city is a canvas, and what better canvas than Amsterdam?
We will also help you to get tickets for the Anne Frank House. You will then be able to explore the Anne Frank House at your own pace, unguided.
Where are we going?
around Jordaan
On this walk, the guide and students will work together to discover some of the most interesting urban artwork in the Jordaan neighbourhood. We’ll combine works such as those of the unknown sculptor and Frankey, (the Dutch Banksy), with lesser-known but equally interesting pieces hidden through the narrow streets of this former working-class neighbourhood.
what is street art?
This tour is great for exploring ideas about art and creating discussion points. What are the benefits of street art? Why has it increased in popularity so much in the past decades? Will we see these works in museums in the future? Will this art movement stand the test of time? Is graffiti street art?
Graffiti Experience
