Lake Mohave You have a choice of two launch sites, Telephone Cove, or Cabin Site Point. From each launch site there are many coves and places to explore with spectacular desert mountain views. Wildlife is in abundance from waterfowl to reptiles and several other desert creatures. This trip is great for all ages because it allows flexibility for all skill levels. Davis Dam to Rotary Park This trip is a diverse exploration of urban and undeveloped land which follows the Colorado River Heritage Trail. It begins at historic Davis Camp and winds down past the casino row of Laughlin. Once you pass the casinos it is a leisurely paddle through the residential area of Bullhead City and the Laughlin Lagoon area, where it is common to spot a variety of waterfowl and other wildlife. There are many places to stop and explore, or just relax and have a picnic on the beach. This trip is excellent for families because it caters to beginning paddlers of all ages. Topock Gorge We launch at the Topock Gorge Marina under the I-40 bridge and paddle through the Havasu National Wildlife Refuge, and Needles Wilderness Area where vast species of bird and wildlife can be spotted. Migratory waterfowl, desert bighorn, coyote and beaver can be seen. This section of river winds through the Devils Elbow, past Picture Rock, the Blankenship Bend, and the marshes of upper Lake Havasu and offers a scenic and tranquil environment mid October to mid April. This trip is considered intermediate due to the possibility of high winds and long distance over slow moving water. This can be done as a day or moonlight trip. Moonlight Paddles Join us as we do variety of moonlight trips on the river or lake. These guided trips offer spectacular moon rises and relaxed conditions on the water with mild temperatures. Moonlights are becoming our most popular trips so contact us for exact dates and trips.
Do you have a group that would like to paddle? If so we can accommodate you. We have the largest fleet of sit-on-top kayaks on the river. We can handle 150 people on a variety of double and single kayaks. The sit-on-top kayaks are fun and very popular. Discounts start with a group of 20 and we suggest calling us for pricing. Group leader receives a free trip. The group leader is responsible for booking, signing up and collecting fees from participants. The group leader is required to send a signed copy of our reservation form when reservation is confirmed.
Multi-Day We have several multi day trips available for those of you wanting to spend a few days on the water. The most popular is Davis dam to Lake Havasu City. This can be done in as little as 2 days for experienced paddlers to 4 days for those seeking a leisurely paddle.
Another popular multi day trip is Hoover Dam to El Dorado Canyon on Lake Mohave, most people do this trip in 3 days. The scenery is outstanding and this area has quite a rich history in the settlement and development of the lower Colorado River region.
Other multi day trips can be done on Lake Mead starting at Pearce Ferry and paddling down Lake Mead to any number of access points on the Lake. South Cove, Greggs Hideout , Temple Bar and Bonelli Landing are points where you can be picked up. Stunning scenery and isolation, are offered on Lake Mead . High winds and changing weather conditions are possible so we recommend EXPERIENCED paddlers attempt this area. We recommend you contact us to help plan these trips and obtain pricing. All trips listed are unguided. Guide service is available, but most trips can be done without one. All water is rated Class 1. Trips on Lake Mead are unguided due to National Park Service Regulations but you can have a support boat provided by Desert River Outfitters accompany your group at an additional fee.

Life Vests - But every tour I go on they stink (Smell and the way they fit!) Venture Out Vegas supports the safety of what the National Park Rangers have implemented and every guest must abide by the rules set in place. There is a fine if you are busted without one, and this will make Venture Out Vegas look bad- and we will not stand for that. So to alleviate the headaches of life vests not fitting, Venture Out Vegas has a wide selection of life vests from the top brands- O’Neill, Connelly, Maui & Son’s, Stearns, even Disney for the little ones! Also, after every single tour the life vests, are hand washed, sanitized, and inspected, leaving all our gear smelling fresh!

Hoover Dam ID Reminder! With only 45 permits issued on a daily basis, it is truly a remarkable trip if you are able to jump in on this tour! If we are able to get you a permit, make sure your first and last names are spelled perfectly when booking and it matches your ID! REMINDER: DON'T FORGET YOUR ID!!! If you forget your ID you won’t be able to partake in this activity!
Weight Capacity For the convenience of you experience, Venture Out Vegas uses touring kayaks. That means sit inside kayaks. This makes your day as smooth as possible. Unfortunately, not everyone will be able to partake. We have had 275-330 pound guests before, but not everyones weight is distributed the same. Any questions please feel free to reach out. If for safety reasons we are unable to take you, we will try to cater to another activity for you/your group.
