Diamond Head State Monument is one of Hawaii’s most recognized landmarks and for decades, visitors have hiked to the summit of Diamond Head to enjoy the breathtaking views of Oahu. Diamond Head State Monument is the third largest attraction on Oahu and is maintained by Hawaii’s State Parks. This popular historic 1.6-mile hiking trail offers a memorable Hawaiian adventure for the entire family.

The Diamond Head hike takes about 1.5 hours; is considered a “moderate” hike, with a few hundred concrete and metal stairs to conquer. It’s not considered an easy hike, but it is extremely scenic and fun hike to the summit. Your tour includes a continental breakfast and the State of Hawaii official “Diamond Head Hiking Narrated Audio Tour”, available in English, Japanese, Mandarin, Spanish, French and German. Upon completion of your hike, your tour includes the State of Hawaii’s official “I Hiked Diamond Head” certificate. (Available in English and Japanese).

The second half of your tour begins at Pearl Harbor Visitor Center where we take you on a journey back to December 7th, 1941 and provides you with the complete story of the attack on Pearl Harbor, the day that launched the United States into World War II. At Pearl Harbor each passenger will receive the National Park Service’s official USS Arizona Memorial Narrated Tour. (Available in English, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Spanish, French, German, Russian or Italian. This audio tour will guide you through the entire Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, its two museums, movie documentaries and is used on the USS Arizona Memorial Tour.

The highlight of this tour is when you get timed admission to the National Park Service’s theater to view a 23-minute movie documentary on the bombing of Pearl Harbor and then you will board the US Navy shuttle boat to travel out to the USS Arizona Memorial.

Located in Pearl Harbor, the USS Arizona Memorial rests above the sunken battleship USS Arizona. Here you will visit one of our nation’s most popular national monuments and stand in the shrine room to view the names of over 1,178 sailors and marines who lost their lives during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. Aboard the Memorial, you will also be able to view the oil that is still leaking for the USS Arizona and have a perfect view of the Battleship USS Missouri.
