You leave Dublin before the city has fully woken: the coach hums, the comfort of onboard Wi‑Fi and bottled water at hand, and the Irish countryside unfurling like a page turning. Fields press up against the window, hedgerows slick with Atlantic mist daring you to trade the skyline for stone towers and hilltop ruins.

Blarney Castle dates to the mid‑15th century and is linked to the MacCarthy clan; the Rock of Cashel was the traditional seat of Munster kings before becoming an important medieval ecclesiastical site.
These sites balance heavy visitation with conservation; stick to marked paths, avoid climbing fragile stonework, and support local conservation by using designated parking and facilities.
