Leaving from Dublin it is approx 3-4hr drive to the Cliffs of Moher so there will be a stop along the way.
Following a refreshing walk, we will make our way to the small fishing town of Doolin, famous for its Irish music in the region. This is a great location for lunch and the sea food is straight from the close by harbour.
There are a couple of things to choose from visiting in this area including the Burren, a limestone/karst region in the west of Ireland.
These are the main attractions but there are many more highlights to this tour. This will be a tour you will never forget!
After a drive through one of Ireland's national parks, you will visit Corcomroe Abbey, a 12th century abbey in a beautiful setting. You can also decide to visit the Poulnabrone Dolmen, Situated on one of the most desolate and highest points of the region. It comprises three standing portal stones supporting a horizontal capstone an days back to the Neolithic period approx 3000BC.
Then you can enjoy one of the finest coastal drives in Ireland along the Wild Atlantic Way towards the city of Galway. A wonderful point to stop along this way is at Kinvara and Dunguaire castle, 16th century castle and townhouse built by the O’Hynes and sits on the south of Galway Bay.
