About

Our wine tours in Chianti starts from Florence and, according to the season and small wineries availabilities, may bring you to discover different sub-areas of Chianti: Chianti Classico is the most famous, but we have also selected hidden gems in Chianti Rufina and Chianti Colli Fiorentini or Senesi, so that you can appreciate the differences in the same kind of wine, produced mainly using Sangiovese grapes.

The Chianti wine tour has two option: full or half day. In the first version you will have more hours to spend with us and to meet two wine makers, organic or biodynamic. We also have the time to visit at least two Tuscan historical cities or village.

The half-day version includes a visit to a single producer and usually does not allow us to visit more than one country. Both include Tuscan lunch and wine tasting (the full day version two wine tastings). In case you are interested in the half-day version, please contact us at tours@de-gustibus.it.

Full Day - 7 hours

The full day version is a bit different: the first stop is at the first boutique winery, with visit and tasting, accompanied with snacks.

Then we move to Greve in Chianti for a coffe and a short walk in the historical square before moving to the second wine farm where you will enjoy the Tuscan lunch with second wine tasting.

Before coming back to Florence a small, hidden gem, Montefioralle castle and hamlet, will be the last stop. The family of Amerigo Vespucci had a palace inside the ancient walls...

Again let us underline that we want you to meet and know our friends wine maker because we think they really do great wines, respecting traditions and nature
