Flowing through the heart of Perth, Australia, the Swan River offers an iconic setting that combines urban charm with wild beauty. The Private Charter to the Swan River on Moonshine 2 invites travelers to experience this famed waterway in a deeply personalized way, setting its own pace for discovery. Departing from East Street Jetty in Fremantle, this intimate charter accommodates up to 12 guests, ideal for families, friends, or couples seeking a unique expedition on the water.

Unlike traditional tours, this private trip is customizable, allowing you to design your perfect day cruising the river. Whether it's savoring a leisurely barbecue on board, diving into the inviting waters at Rocky Bay, or simply unwinding with a drink while watching the Perth skyline glow at sunset, the journey adapts to your preferences. The Moonshine 2, a comfortable dinghy, offers a smooth ride along this critical watercourse that links Fremantle with the city center. The trip duration ranges from three to eight hours, giving ample opportunity to explore or relax.

The Swan River itself is a defining feature of Western Australia's landscape, weaving through natural reserves and urban developments. The area is known for its diverse birdlife, majestic river gums lining the banks, and crystal-clear waters shaped by ancient geological processes. Scenic stops like Rocky Bay allow for swimming and snorkeling, where a mask and snorkel are provided to glimpse beneath the surface. The river's historical significance is clear too—the waterway served as a vital transport and trade route for the Noongar people for thousands of years before European settlement.

This private charter stands out for its flexibility and personalized service, offered by hosts familiar with the river’s rhythms and local insights. Participants are encouraged to bring their own food and beverages, tailoring their onboard experience from casual picnics to full meals. Comfort and connection to the environment blend seamlessly here, making it not just a cruise but a chance to connect with Western Australia's aquatic heritage and natural beauty.

Ideal for adventurers aged eight and above, this experience balances ease with excitement. The route between East Street Jetty and Perth City takes roughly one hour each way, with the option of lingering in spots of your choosing. Whether you're after a refreshing swim, a calm sunset, or an engaging day out on a storied river, the Private Charter on Moonshine 2 offers both freedom and an invitation to savor the spirit of the Swan River.
