Join us on a bottom fishing trip around the beautiful San Juan Islands. We catch fish and have a lot of fun doing it!
We use all top-of-the-line equipment from Avet, Shimano, Okuma, and Lamiglas gear, and are suited for any type of fish you may find in the San Juan Island. We use frozen bait usually Herring or Anchovies for crab pots or Halibut fishing, and a variety of artificial lure. If you have an old betty that works for you, bring it along.
It is our policy to set the departure times based on the tides, which changes day to day. When there are two potentials for the respective day, we choose the optimal tide, time of departure, within a day or two before the trip. This date is based on current results to give our customers the best opportunity for success or unless at the time of booking a specific time is requested.
Weather can change quickly on the water, so a waterproof jacket will keep you dry and comfortable.
Even on cloudy days, UV rays reflect off the water. Wear sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat for safety.
Since food isn’t provided, bring enough nourishment to stay energized throughout your outing.
Non-slip shoes are recommended to maintain your footing on wet boat surfaces during casting and reeling.
