Follow the map and look for the works of art held in the Cathedral. It is one of the largest churches in the world! You will have to literally look under your feet to find the sundial hidden in the flooring before looking up 50m high to discover the age-old rites and traditions. You will learn how to read the stories represented in the stained glass windows and observe how the details and decorations have changed over the course of the years. The Cathedral will hold no more secrets for you by the end of this visit.

The price includes the guided tour, microphone system and the Duomo Pass Lift entrance ticket, which gives you access to all areas of the Historical Complex.

If you decide to go up to the Terraces on your own at the end of the guided tour, please remember the following:

  • Access to the Rooftops by lift. The descent is possible with the stairs only
  • There are no restroom facilities available on the Terraces.
  • The Terraces are not covered; therefore, during warmer months, we recommend:   1) Wearing hats and sunglasses for sun protection   2) Choosing light-colored, breathable clothing   3) Applying sunscreen   4) Bringing water to stay hydrated (only plastic bottles are allowed – glass is not permitted)
