THE ADVENTURE COLLECTIVE® · Independent discovery and booking for outdoor travel

Read the full experience

A white hull parts the Tyrrhenian blue and the island of Capri grows larger: sheer limestone cliffs, terraces of ivied villas, and the bright flash of a fishing skiff. Guests step aboard a 40–50 ft private boat for a day that moves at the sea’s tempo—sunlight on water, the captain calling a sheltered cove for a swim, then easing close to a clifftop restaurant for lunch.

Adventure tips

Confirm fuel & fees aheadFuel is not included—expect an extra charge (€500–€800 depending on boat class) and possible docking fees at popular ports.

Timing mattersLeave early to beat afternoon winds and crowds; mornings are calmer and better for cave visits like the Blue Grotto.

Bring reef-safe sunscreenProtect skin and the marine environment—use biodegradable sunscreen and avoid oils before snorkeling to keep masks clear.

Prepare for motionIf you’re prone to seasickness, take medication before boarding and choose a mid-boat seat for the smoothest ride.

Recommended gear

Reef-safe sunscreen: Protects skin and marine habitats during long sun exposure on deck.
Swimsuit & quick-dry towel: For swims and snorkeling at coves—towels are usually provided but a personal towel is convenient.
Light wind jacket: Open-water breezes and late-afternoon wind can be cool even in summer—bring a lightweight layer.
Waterproof bag or dry sack: Keeps phone, documents, and snacks dry while you move between sun and shade.
