The engine quiets and the bay opens like a page turned. Off the stern, Cabo San Lucas Bay lays out its fast light—sapphire near the marina, a greener blue where the Pacific brushes against the Sea of Cortez. A private catamaran slips through that seam, trimming toward El Arco. Wind lifts a flag; gulls wheel. On deck, a group of friends toss a towel over a rail and trade a last coffee for snorkeling masks. The Arch grows, craggy and sunlit, and for a few minutes the world narrows to salt, spray and the sound system’s playlist humming through the rail.
