Recommended gear

Smartphone or mirrorless camera: Primary device for portraits or to review framing; pros will use additional equipment but your device is handy for outfit checks.
Comfortable, grippy shoes: Necessary for walking on cobblestones, wooden planks and quick position changes.
Light windbreaker or layer: Blocks river breeze and helps maintain your look between takes.
Small neutral tote or pouch: Carry essentials—phone, ID, touch-up makeup—without bulky straps that disrupt poses.
