Morning light breaks over Dubrovnik’s harbor and the Adriatic answers with a cool, salt-sweet breeze. You step aboard a roomy private boat, find a sun deck that soaks the first rays, and watch stone islands loom as the engine chuffs toward Koločep, Šipan and Lopud. The sea dares you to jump in; caverns hold pockets of cobalt that glow when sunlight filters through—an invitation to snorkel beneath a carved ceiling of rock.
