Charlotte Amalie, the bustling capital of St. Thomas in the United States Virgin Islands, offers an unforgettable gateway to extraordinary island adventures. One experience that stands out is the private boat charter operated by St. Thomas Leisure Boat Charters, LLC. Their flagship vessel, Twins Up, delivers remarkable days on the pristine Caribbean waters, blending luxury, adventure, and island charm in perfect harmony. From the moment you step aboard, you’re treated to a personalized journey guided by Captain Christian and First Mate Liz, who bring local knowledge, warmth, and a flair for memorable hospitality.
The boat itself is a standout — spacious, impeccably maintained, and equipped with creature comforts including a full bathroom and a convenient changing area. This level of comfort sets it apart from typical charters, allowing guests to fully relax between snorkeling stops and exploration. Guests dive into crystal-clear waters teeming with vibrant marine life, including graceful sea turtles and brightly colored tropical fish, at some of the Virgin Islands’ best snorkeling sites. Hidden coves and secluded beaches are seamlessly accessed, offering a sense of discovery away from the crowds.
Lunch aboard the boat is another highlight; thoughtfully prepared meals feature fresh island flavors like Sicilian salad, grilled kabobs, and traditional rum cake. The crew’s attentiveness and culinary skills elevate the day into a full sensory island escape. Beyond the water, the nearby Sapphire Beach area where some guests stay provides pristine white sand and a calming turquoise backdrop, rounding out the perfect island itinerary.
What makes St. Thomas Leisure Boat Charters unique is their authentic connection to the islands and personalized service. Unlike large commercial tours, this company focuses on intimate groups, customizing each trip to guest desires and showcasing hidden treasures beyond typical sightseeing. This commitment to quality and local experience makes it one of St. Thomas's premier outdoor recreation options and a must for visitors seeking relaxation and adventure combined.
